Program Objectives & Overview

There is a need for administrative professionals trained in a variety of office skills. Utilizing current technology, students will become proficient in diverse computer applications. Design and digital offerings provide the ability to support the modern workplace. Students will be equipped with a comprehensive background in the daily operation of an office utilizing their communication and business skills.

Externship Opportunities

Administrative Office Professional majors participate in an externship in their final quarters of study that provide an opportunity to gain experience working in their field under the combined supervision and evaluation of both a cooperating local business and Ohio Business College.

CLASS SCHEDULES 

DAY: A typical full time business student attending day classes will have 3 sessions per week. Lecture classes are 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, and Lab classes (if required) are 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Once enrolled, your schedule will be personalized to fit your needs.

EVENING: A typical full time business students attending evening classes will have 3 sessions per week. Lecture classes are 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and Lab classes (if required) are 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Once enrolled, your schedule will be personalized to fit your needs.
